Sports Programme

At TIPS Erode CBSE, sport is an essential part of every student's education. A vibrant and wide-ranging programme welcomes athletes of all levels to train with intention, build healthy habits and develop a lifelong love of movement.

From football, basketball, cricket, badminton, table tennis, volleyball, swimming and track and field in the mandatory curriculum to the Sports & Athletic Programme, students compete, grow and thrive.

Guided by the principle of ‘student first, winning second’ experienced and passionate coaches guide students from their first fundamental movements through to competitive sport, championing effort, resilience and sportsmanship.

Sports & Athletic Programme

Our Sports & Athletic Programme offers committed student-athletes advanced, competitive training after school Monday to Friday and Saturday mornings. Through specialised coaching, it develops strength, skill and game understanding, promoting strong bodies, confident minds and lifelong healthy living at our CBSE School in Erode, where all students are encouraged to participate, perform and excel with passion and pride.

Little movers - Kindergarten sports

In Kindergarten, sport is about joyful movement, gentle exploration and meaningful play. Rooted in a learning-through-play approach, children in KG1 and KG2 are introduced to age-appropriate activities that support their natural growth and development in a safe and encouraging environment. Through running, balancing, rolling, ball play and sensory-rich movement experiences, they build coordination and body awareness.

As children move from KG1 to KG2, their experiences gradually become more structured and collaborative, strengthening control, endurance and teamwork. Through activities such as obstacle courses and dribbling games, they develop fine and gross motor skills, learn to listen and follow instructions.
